1. Product Overview

Our newly launched Etching Bipolar Plates are high-precision metal components specially developed for hydrogen fuel cell and new energy power systems. Adopting advanced photochemical etching technology instead of traditional stamping or laser cutting processes, these bipolar plates feature ultra-smooth channel walls, zero burrs, no mechanical deformation and excellent batch consistency. The product supports ultra-thin design and custom micro-channel structures, effectively improving gas distribution uniformity, electrical conductivity and overall fuel cell operating efficiency. Suitable for PEM fuel cells, portable energy devices and commercial hydrogen energy equipment, our etching bipolar plates deliver stable performance and long service life for global new energy projects.

3. Etching Process Flow

Our etching bipolar plates are manufactured through mature and standardized photochemical etching procedures to ensure high precision and excellent surface quality for every single plate:

Step 1. Substrate Cleaning & Degreasing
Remove oil, dust and oxide layers thoroughly to ensure flat and clean metal surface for subsequent processing.

Step 2. Photoresist Coating
Uniformly apply professional anti-corrosion photosensitive resist on the metal surface to form a protective film.

Step 3. UV Exposure & Pattern Transfer
Transfer custom-designed flow channel patterns onto the substrate through high-precision film exposure, accurately distinguishing reserved areas and etching areas.

Step 4. Developing & Fixing
Remove unexposed photoresist to expose the metal areas that need etching, ensuring clear and accurate pattern edges.

Step 5. Precision Chemical Etching
Adopt automatic etching equipment to precisely control solution concentration, temperature, spray pressure and etching time, achieving uniform and controllable corrosion to form complete micro flow channels and structural features.

Step 6. Stripping & Polishing
Remove the remaining photoresist layer, followed by precision polishing and surface treatment to ensure smooth channel walls and flat plate surface.

Step 7. Ultrasonic Cleaning & Quality Inspection
Complete deep cleaning and multi-dimensional quality inspection on size, flatness, channel consistency and surface quality before packaging and delivery.

4. Packaging Method

We adopt standardized anti-collision and anti-scratch packaging solutions suitable for high-precision metal components, to ensure zero damage during international transportation:

• Inner packaging: Independent anti-static bag, vacuum packaging and soft foam separation to avoid friction, scratch and extrusion deformation;

• Outer packaging: Hard carton or customized wooden box with shockproof foam filling;
