Photo Etched SUS304 Speaker Grilles for Automotive Door Panels

This photo etched speaker grille family is built for automotive interior audio trims where the cover is visible, touched and judged. We etch SUS304 or SUS316 strip in 0.3mm, 0.5mm, 0.8mm and 1.2mm gauges, opening micro perforations from 0.2mm up to 3.0mm pitch patterns so the grille stays acoustically open while keeping the aperture visually invisible from arm's length. Because the aperture is dissolved in etchant instead of punched or laser cut, every hole edge keeps a rounded, burr free profile. Door panel trims, A pillar tweeter pods, rear shelf covers and centre channel arrays are the four positions we produce most often, each with its own draw bead, adhesive ring or weld tab. |

How Your Project Runs
1. Drawing review. Send a 2D drawing, 3D step file or a photo of the current trim. We flag anything that cannot be etched cleanly, such as apertures under 0.15mm or deep half etch steps.
2. Artwork and sample. We build the phototool and run a first article, normally 5 to 7 working days after drawing sign off.
3. Validation. Sample goes out with aperture measurement report, flatness report and finish swatches.
4. Series supply. After approval we release volume runs with a 7 to 15 day shipping window.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the grille pattern carry our logo? Yes. Etching is a photographic process, so a logo or pattern is just another aperture shape in the artwork.
Will the cover rattle in a door panel? Etched parts carry no internal stress, so they stay flat. We can add adhesive rings, foam backing or locating tabs.
What is the minimum order? 10 pieces for prototype batches, with series pricing starting once the aperture artwork is locked.
