Printed Circuit Heat Exchanger (PCHE), also referred to as Diffusion Bonded Compact Heat Exchanger (DCHE), is a new generation of heat exchangers. It offers extremely high compactness and is capable of efficient heat transfer under demanding conditions such as high temperature and high pressure. By applying chemical etching technology, micro- to millimeter-scale channels can be precisely etched into the heat exchange plates.
