1. Design & Masking: A CAD design is transferred onto a metal sheet coated with a light-sensitive photoresist.
2. Exposure: UV light exposes the design through a photomask, hardening selected areas of the resist.
3. Developing: The unexposed (soft) areas are washed away, leaving the desired pattern.
4. Etching: The sheet is submerged in an acid or alkaline solution that dissolves the exposed metal.
5. Stripping: The remaining photoresist is removed, revealing the finished part.
