Hoe werkt fotochemische etsen?
- Ontwerp en maskering: een CAD-ontwerp wordt overgedragen op een metalen plaat die is bekleed met een lichtgevoelige fotoresist.
- Blootstelling: UV-licht legt het ontwerp bloot door een fotomasker, waardoor geselecteerde delen van de weerstand verharden.
- Ontwikkelen: De onontblote (zachte) gebieden worden weggespoeld, waardoor het gewenste patroon achterblijft.
- Etsen: Het vel wordt ondergedompeld in een zuur- of alkalische oplossing die het blootgestelde metaal oplost.
- Stripping: het resterende fotoresist wordt verwijderd, waardoor het afgewerkte deel zichtbaar wordt.
