Precision Metal Mesh is a high-accuracy metal mesh manufactured through Photo Chemical Machining (PCM), also known as chemical etching or photo etching. Compared with woven wire mesh or punched mesh, precision etched metal mesh offers burr-free edges, uniform apertures, complex geometries and exceptional dimensional accuracy, making it ideal for demanding filtration and precision engineering applications.
What is Etching?
Metal etching is a precise, subtractive manufacturing process that uses controlled chemistry to selectively remove material from metal sheets. It produces clean, burr-free parts with complex geometries without heat or mechanical stress, ideal for delicate and high-tolerance parts.
